polyurethin varnish - it will seal nad waterproff the wood and also protects it from damage.
wood stain - enhaces the woods apeerance by changing the colour of the wood.
oil - used to improve the astecits of the wood.
presevertive - tanilised timber = protects it for 4 times as long as it would normily.
paint - if you are going to paint a peice of wood you need to put a primeer on first so the oil based can stick to it.
